As the days grow shorter and the air takes on that unmistakable crispness, fall arrives in Maine with a season full of beloved traditions. Around Sebago Lake, autumn isn’t just about colorful foliage—it’s also about fairs and festivals that bring families and communities together.

From agricultural fairs and corn mazes to sunflower fields, scenic chairlift rides, local music, and handmade goods, these events celebrate some of the best parts of fall in Maine. Whether you want to pick pumpkins with the kids, watch livestock competitions, wander through a corn maze, or enjoy an afternoon of food and music, there is something for nearly every family.

Here are the fall fairs and festivals happening near Sebago Lake in 2026.

September 4–7 & 12–13 | Sunflower Festival at Pumpkin Valley Farm (Dayton, ME)

Walk among two acres of sunflowers during Pumpkin Valley Farm’s early September festival. Families can cut their own flowers, listen to live music, visit the farm animals, and enjoy the farm’s play areas.

New for 2026, visitors can also choose and cut zinnias.

Hours: 11:00 am–4:00 pm
Sunflowers: $2 per stem
Activities: Sunflower fields, live music, farm animals, play areas, and flower cutting
Food: Wood-fired pizza, craft beer and wine, kettle corn, hot dogs, lemonade, soft-serve ice cream, and other refreshments
Good to Know: The cow train and wagon ride will not operate during the Sunflower Festival. Dates are tentative and may change depending on weather and bloom conditions.

September 11–November 1 | Hurricane Meadows Fall Festival (Falmouth, ME)

Hurricane Meadows offers a full season of farm fun with a five-acre corn maze, pumpkin picking, sunflower fields, farm games, slides, swings, and plenty of room for kids to play.

Hours: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 am–6:00 pm
Additional Date: Monday, October 12
Admission: $15 per person; children under 2 are free
Season Pass: $50 per person
Activities: Five-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, farm play areas, trike track, swings, slides, games, and seasonal photo opportunities

September 16–19 | Oxford County Fair (Oxford, ME)

The Oxford County Fair brings four days of agricultural exhibits, livestock competitions, midway rides, demonstrations, pulling events, food, and entertainment to western Maine.

It is a traditional country fair where children can see farm animals up close while families enjoy everything from mechanical pulls and horse events to midway games and classic fair food.

Wednesday Admission: $3 per person
Thursday Admission: $8 per person; children 5 and under are free
Friday Admission: $10 per person; children 5 and under are free
Saturday Admission: $15 per person; children 5 and under are free
Family Appeal: Livestock exhibits, agricultural competitions, rides, demonstrations, food, and live entertainment

September 26–October 25 | Pumpkin Valley Farm Fall Festival (Dayton, ME)

Pumpkin Valley Farm’s Fall Festival combines a five-acre corn maze with an extensive collection of farm play activities. Admission includes most of the family attractions, making it easy to spend several hours at the farm.

Regular Hours: Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am–5:00 pm
Additional Date: Monday, October 12 from 10:00 am–5:00 pm
Final Weekend: October 31 and November 1 from 10:00 am–3:00 pm
Activities Included: Five-acre corn maze, jumping pillow, corn pit, duck races, Ball Zone, farm animals, wagon ride, play areas, and one cow train ride for children ages 10 and under
Pumpkins: Jack-o’-lantern pumpkins are 65 cents per pound; pumpkins weighing five pounds or less are $5 each
Food: Wood-fired pizza and beer are available on weekends from 11:00 am–4:00 pm. The cash-only Cow Lick Cafe offers kettle corn, hot dogs, cotton candy, cider, and water.
Good to Know: Ticket sales and maze admission end one hour before closing. The festival is weather-dependent, and pets are not allowed except trained service dogs.

September 27–October 3 | Cumberland Fair (Cumberland, ME)

The Cumberland Fair has been bringing Maine’s agricultural traditions to families for more than 150 years. The fair includes livestock, harness racing, agricultural displays, competitions, rides, food, entertainment, and demonstrations.

Hours: Gates open by 8:00 am; buildings open at 9:00 am and close at 9:00 pm. Outdoor events and rides may continue later.

October 4–11 | Fryeburg Fair (Fryeburg, ME)

Maine’s Blue Ribbon Classic returns to its traditional eight-day schedule in 2026. As one of the state’s largest and best-known agricultural fairs, Fryeburg offers enough activities and exhibits to fill an entire day—and then some.

Families can explore livestock barns, watch horse and oxen pulls, visit the Agricultural Discovery Center, see harness racing, browse craft and horticultural exhibits, ride midway attractions, and sample plenty of traditional fair food.

Admission: $15 for adult single-day admission when purchased at the gate; online tickets include a processing fee
Children: Children 12 and under are traditionally admitted free
Midway Hours: Approximately 10:00 am until closing each day

October 10 | Pleasant Mountain Fall Festival (Bridgton, ME)

Take in peak foliage from above during Pleasant Mountain’s family-friendly Fall Festival. Scenic chairlift rides offer sweeping views across the lakes and mountains, while activities at the base keep children entertained throughout the afternoon.

Hours: 11:00 am–4:00 pm
Admission: Adults $30; seniors $22; children $12
Activities: Scenic chairlift rides, live music, pumpkin painting, fall games, and a bouncy house
Food: Local brews, oysters, chili, donuts, and snacks will be available for purchase

October 12 | Shaker Village Harvest Festival (New Gloucester, ME)

Celebrate the end of the harvest season at Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village. This free event combines seasonal family activities with traditional crafts, local agriculture, music, historic demonstrations, and opportunities to learn more about life at the Shaker Village.

Hours: 10:00 am–3:00 pm
Admission: Free
Activities: Wagon rides, live music, face painting, Jack-be-little pumpkin painting, lawn games, craft demonstrations, barn and herb garden tours, museum exhibits, and visits with goats, sheep, and Scottish Highland cattle

October 10 | Rocktoberfest & Nightmarket (Naples, ME)

Rocktoberfest returns to the Naples Causeway for an afternoon and evening of live music, local makers, family activities, food, and fall fun beside the water.

Families can walk along the Causeway, visit participating restaurants, browse artisan booths, and enjoy the festivities as the sun sets over Long Lake and Brandy Pond.

Families can work their way through the five-acre corn maze, pick pumpkins, meet farm animals, watch agricultural demonstrations, and enjoy food and shopping from local vendors.
