About Colonial Mast Campground

Colonial Mast Campground is a year-round family campground located on Long Lake in Naples. The property includes campsites, waterfront access, a sandy beach, playground, recreation hall, camp store, and a variety of family activities throughout the season.

In the colder months, the heated indoor pool becomes one of the most popular amenities for families staying on site or visiting the area.

What to Expect on Your Visit

The indoor pool at Colonial Mast Campground is a heated swimming pool and hot tub located inside the campground’s recreation area. It’s open year-round and welcomes both campers and the public during scheduled open swim hours.

The pool ranges from 3.5 feet to 6 feet deep, making it a comfortable depth for families with school-age kids while still allowing adults room to swim.

A few things families will notice right away:

  • heated indoor pool open year-round
  • hot tub area for adults (14+)
  • Pool noodles, life jackets, and swim toys available to use during your visit
  • A relaxed, community-style atmosphere rather than a large rec center
Indoor hot tub with a safety sign stating 'MUST BE 14 TO USE THE HOT TUB', wooden paneling, clock on the wall, and a scenic picture in the background.

This makes it a good option for families with younger kids who just want a place to swim without the crowds or complexity of larger facilities.

Open swim admission includes up to two hours of pool time during scheduled swim periods.

Rates:

  • Infant (up to age 4): $6
  • Child (ages 5–13): $8
  • Adult (ages 14+): $9.50
  • Senior (60+): $7.50

Programs and Activities

In addition to open swim, the pool hosts several regular programs throughout the year.

These may include:

Swim Lessons
Lessons are offered through the Casco Recreation Department.

Aquacise Classes
Water exercise classes run several times per week and can be taken as a session or drop-in class.

Birthday Parties
Birthday parties can be booked with a private hour in the pool followed by time in the lodge for food and celebration.

For families planning winter birthdays, this can be a fun alternative to indoor playgrounds.

Facilities

The pool area connects directly to the campground lodge, where families will find several convenient amenities.

Keep Finding Simple Ways to Get Out of the House

Looking for more easy outing ideas near Sebago Lake — especially the kind that don’t require a full day commitment, advance tickets, or a complicated plan?

The Lake Region Kids Calendar is updated each week with local events, indoor activity ideas, seasonal outings, and simple places families can return to again and again — so you can spend less time searching and more time actually getting out of the house.

Spaces like the indoor pool at Colonial Mast remind us that sometimes the best family outings are also the simplest. A warm pool on a cold winter day. Kids splashing and laughing. Parents chatting along the side of the pool while goggles and pool noodles float by.

It’s a small break from the snow boots and heavy coats of winter — and sometimes that’s exactly what families need.

Because strong communities aren’t always built through big events or complicated plans.
Sometimes they grow from the simple routines families return to week after week: a warm pool, familiar faces, and kids playing nearby.
