Why Families Love Casco Community Park

Casco Community Park is a favorite for families thanks to its wide open feel, mix of play structures for all ages, and space to spread out. The pavilion is a great place to enjoy a picnic or escape the sun, and the paths make it easy to navigate with strollers or scooters.

Play & Explore

Playground Equipment:

  • Separate structures for toddlers and older kids
    • Small structure features a 3 ft high platform with stairs, a climbing wall, and a double slide. Ideal for ages 2-5.
    • Tall structure features a platform at 5 ft high with stairs, a ladder, and a double slide. This leads up to an 8 ft platform with stairs to two slides, and two additional ladders. Ideal for ages 5-12.
  • Merry-go-round
  • 2 regular swings, 1 toddler swing, and one adaptive swing.

Open Space Features:

  • Grassy field with soccer and lacrosse goals
  • Walking path encircling the park
  • Biba playground app integration—scan playground markers to access interactive mobile games

Rest & Refuel

  • Shade: Pavilion provides a welcome break from the sun; some tree shade in the late afternoon
  • Restrooms: Two seasonal portable toilets
  • Seating: Four picnic tables under the pavilion and one bench beside the playground
  • Water Access: Bring your own—no fountains available

Getting There & Getting Around

  • Parking: Paved lot with space for approximately 50 vehicles
  • Accessibility: Paved path from lot to pavilion; gravel path around park is stroller and wheelchair-friendly
  • Cell Service/Wi-Fi: 2 bars of 5G on AT&T network

Parent Pointers
